We think your fairy would love this easel! It’s so easy to make – make sure you have an adult to help, and have fun :)
What you’ll need:
Step 1: Take three of the six pegs apart.
Step 2: Take two of the pegs you haven’t taken apart and put hot glue in the holes, then put the skewer between them (leaving 1.5 inches space between) before cutting off the leftover piece of skewer on the outside as shown.
Step 3: Take another peg and clip it on the skewer in the middle of the two others (no glue required here!)
Step 4: Using three of the ‘half pegs’ from earlier, glue them onto the bottom of the three full pegs to give some more height.
Step 5: Take another two ‘half pegs’ and hot glue them side by side. Then glue this ledge sideways onto the front of the easel (just below the point where the full peg ends as shown).
That’s it!! Now all you have to do is leave some blank paper or Post-It notes for your fairy and wait to see what they come up with! We’d love to see your finished easel and of course your fairy’s artwork – find us by searching “Irish Fairy Door” on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Have fun!
