United Fairy Nations United Fairy Nations (519 KB)

This week we received an exciting letter from Fairy Valley! It read:

“Greetings to you all. It’s Fairy Magellan here, Geography teacher in Fairy School and member of the International Fairy Council here in Fairy Valley.

Firstly, on behalf of the Council I must wish a happy Independence Day to all American humans. There has been great excitement here in the Valley this
year due to all the fairies who have found homes in the United States so we will be celebrating on the 4th of July, just like lots of
people around the world.

I also have some exciting news for you, which I hope you can pass on to your believers all around the world. As well as America, fairies have been
given homes in so many countries all around the world and we see this as a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the human world and its different
cultures.

As such, we are proud to announce the foundation of the United Fairy Nations. We hope to have fairies representing every country in the world, to share
their knowledge and experience with the rest of Fairy Valley so we can all learn more about the fascinating world of humans.

To celebrate this, we are inviting fairies from all over the world to return to Fairy Valley at any time over the next few days, bringing with them
stories from their home country and also something from their human. This could be a poem about the human’s country, or a drawing, or a story.
It could be a photograph, or a song, or anything the human thinks represents their country.

This period of information-gathering will then end in a wonderful fireworks display as a joint celebration of the 4th of July and the founding
of the United Fairy Nations.

We are all very excited and we hope you can help!

Magical regards,

Magellan”

We think this is really cool!! Wouldn’t it be great if your fairy was selected to represent your country at the United Fairy Nations?! We are sure
they will let you know in a note if they are.

We hope you will be able to give your fairy something to bring with them, as Megallan says it can be anything! A drawing, a poem, a story, or anything
you think represents your country. Before you leave it for your fairy, please send us a picture of it! We will feature as many as we can on our
website. Please include your name, age, country and your fairy’s name too.

You can send them to [email protected] or our Facebook page. We can’t wait
to see them!

And of course, from everyone in Fairy HQ to our American friends, Happy Independence Day!
